Motic Europe, Barcelona / Wetzlar

Some important improvements have been implemented in the latest version of the Motic Imaging Device, which is used with the Motic Images Plus 2.0 and Motic Images Advanced 3.2 Software.

There are two new ways to capture an image without pressing the capture button on the 4th tab on the left.

1. In the right hand corner at the top, you can find a new camera icon. By pressing on this icon an image will be captured instantly. This icon is always visible in the live imaging module.

2. Another fast way to capture an image is by simply pressing the right mouse button.

These two new short cuts make sure you will capture the desired image.

Besides new ways to capture your images, we have also been working on the design of the live imaging module (for the both the Motic Images Plus 2.0 and 3.2 Advanced software).

One of our satisfied users of the Moticam and Motic software, suggested to up-grade the live imaging module with a special fluorescence background module.

The reason for this request was that the initial background colour (light grey) is in big contrast with the background and working environment, when working with fluorescence and therefore sometimes making it difficult to focus on the bright fluorescing samples.

As a result our software development department has created a new fluorescence module icon which can be found in the upper right hand corner. By clicking on this button the live imaging module becomes dark gray.

This will make it much more pleasant to look at the computer screen when working with the fluorescence contrast technique.

All of these new changes have been created with the help of the users of our Moticam and software.

If you have any suggestions on new options that should be considered or current options that can be further improved, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.
